Senior Team Leaders
Ann B. Applewood
Ann is a Managing Partner and heads the Strategy, Operation & Analytics practice. She has served leading global companies across a vast area of industries including: technology, media, telecommunications, and fast-moving consumer-goods. Her experience cuts across the world’s main geographies – with a focus on our primary mission of ensuring clients realize lasting and substantial improvements in their performance. Examples of some of her recent work include:
- Developing a holistic performance transformation of a North American tech company, helping them achieve all-time best and industry-leading performance across productivity, and customer experience measures
- Supporting the commercialization of the nonclassified product portfolio for a global aerospace and defense company – including evaluation of more than 50 potential technologies and potential markets
- Supporting a global industrial player in radically improving their cost base (both direct and indirect cost)
- Helping a global multinational OEM drive profitable growth by streamlining variable marketing expense and fix marketing investment
- Leading a large-scale cost transformation for a Fortune 200 environmental services company – covering capital equipment, front-line operations, procurement and supply chain, and overhead cost
Ann is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Oxford. She serves in a personal capacity on several boards, and as a trustee of the KAST Trust. She is married to Luke, and they have five children.
Andrew H. Johanssen
Andrew is a Co-founder and Managing Partner, and heads the International Expansion & Growth practice. He has more than 35 years of strategy and management consulting experience, across the Americas, European and Asia-Pacific regions. He is dedicated to finding and capturing the most value from every transaction, and is passionate about fostering a diverse and inclusive working environment.
Andrew has a strong background spanning a broad range of industries, including chemicals, financial services, industrial products, retail and consumer goods. He is frequently invited to share his insights and views at high-level executive conferences around the globe, and his work has appeared in business publications including The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Forbes and many other major media outlets, globally.
Andrew is a trusted advisor focused on international growth and innovation, and is an inclusive leader committed to quality. He is a husband and father of three and grandfather of one. He is fluent in Mandarin and Spanish, and is an avid basketball fan.
Lindsay T. Levy
Lindsay is a Senior Partner & Chief Marketing Officer, and a current member of the firm’s leadership team. Lindsay has helped consumer goods and medical device companies capture growth opportunities by enhancing their sales, marketing, and organizational structures. She is a pragmatic strategist to business, civic, and academic communities. Lindsay works with clients across a range of industries to address customer strategy and marketing topics, with particular expertise in customer retention strategy and employee engagement. She has also led work across various topics in B2B, including segmentation, product line strategy, and business unit strategy.
Lindsay has extensive experience in merger integration, customer experience and loyalty and performance improvement. Prior to her current role, Lindsay has worked around the world in several key assignments – building and leading high-performing teams on three continents.
Apart from work, she is an active investor in the fitness and technology services industries. Lindsay holds an MBA from The Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
